Our Second Kickstarter Pt. 6

We’ll be going over all of our kickstarter updates.

May 2014 Kickstarter Update #4. This is when it was just Tyrell, me, Ricky and Mark.
We also brought on a tile artist, Hannah, and someone to do sound effects, Zach.
Chris is still a student so we don’t know how things will pan out. We hope to keep him on board!

As our campaign comes to an end, we know what mistakes we have made and what we plan to do in the near future. Our time was more limited than we had perceived and we are obviously not the best PR people in the world. We definitely we need help on that. What we feel we are, are pretty darn good game creators and our demo has produced limited, but positive reviews. We knew most of our time was needed to run our campaign but we spent a vast majority of that time still working on our game. We have had so much confidence in our game that we really thought we would dominate this time.

We really appreciate the support we have received from each and everyone of you. Out of everything we’ve been through, we really have obtained a lot of things we wanted to accomplish. We have a lot more exposure, we have been featured on numerous news sites all over the web. We have made the front page on a pretty prestigious website that features our engine, and we have gotten our demo into the hands of a bunch of people. We really want to hear a lot more peoples’ opinion on the demo so we know exactly what we are doing wrong and right as far as game creation.

As far as the Kickstarter goes we are going to give it another go before the year is over when we are more prepared and have a better understanding on how to promote our campaign. That is of course if we do not happen to have a grand scale miracle at the end of this campaign. We have already been looking into more ways to get promoted and we are currently planning for things to come. We hope that you all will follow us, and upon our new campaign, pledge on day one to give us that boost that we need to become popular.

At the end of the day we are game creators and we want to be the best at it. We strive to be the very best at it that we can. Regardless of how our crowdfunding endeavors go we still will continue to make games and finish Demon’s Revenge. We will never give up on it and we really want to thank you all for giving us this opportunity to do what we love. We have not given up on this campaign and we are still hoping for the best, but we are being realistic.
